We have several new services at Spa Medical in 2017 that we are really excited about, such as Laser Genesis. This breakthrough laser treatment stimulates the skin's natural processes to reverse the signs of aging and sun damage, thus promoting a vibrant, healthy, younger-looking complexion. The micro-pulses of laser energy actually activate collagen remodeling to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and target unwanted brown spots and facial redness. Although the individual treatments are subtle, the overall effect of a treatment series can be quite dramatic. It is a quick, relaxing treatment with no downtime and can be done during the summer months. People describe the feeling as warm rain drops on your skin and leave with glowing skin and a refreshed sense of well-being. The most gratifying part of our job is ... The most gratifying part of our work is creating meaningful relationships with each patient while watching them grow comfortable and confident in their own skin. The most challenging part of our job is ... The most challenging part of our job is combating all the marketing, misinformation and products in the marketplace that claim to do what our products and services actually do. You can't believe everything you read online and using Elmer's glue and charcoal tablets to remove blackheads is a testament to that! Our goal is to provide our patients with the most innovative products and procedures that produce results. How long has Spa Medical been in business and what advice do you have for young female entrepreneurs? Spa Medical has now been in business for over 15 years. My advice to young entrepreneurs is to discover your strengths and use other resources to complete your business model. I learned from a book titled, "E-Myth Revisited," that there are 3 aspects that make a business successful: the entrepreneur, the manager and the worker. Rarely is anyone gifted in all three areas, however, we try to do it all when we start a business. When I got the right people to fill these three positions, my business doubled! Don't try to do it all! From left to right: Molly Taylor, Katherine Gonzalez, Carrie Oliver, Terri Harper, Jacy Taylor and Kim Intorcia.
