But it's not just a business. It's a calling to be creative and to create a customer base of not just clients but friends, according to owner Mitch Kersey. "Being able to make someone feel beautiful helps them grow and feel confident," Mitch said. "I have the most wonderful, diverse and loyal clients in the world. To be able to boost someone's self-concept, especially when you care about them, is the best! That's what we want everyone who works here to do: be a part of the bigger picture of loving clients, helping them and making them feel good about themselves, and, ultimately, about us and what we try to do." Here are what Amanda Jane's Women in Business say about their jobs and what they love best: Taylor Singetary: I love making people feel beautiful and confident every day. Who wouldn't love that? Donna Dominy: My job gives me great pleasure in helping people look beautiful; it makes me feel great. Amber Threatt: I'm so lucky to train with one of the best, so I can be the best like my teacher, Mitch Kersey. Lindsey Rowland: I love the people I work with, and I love what I do with my clients because the artistic freedom here allows me to create beauty and make people happy. Amy West: I love the relationship I have with my clients. I have these wonderful clients who have been with me for most of my career, so I've been able to create lifelong friendships. Corrie Peake: I love my job because it creates a family environment, which makes my day to day very enjoyable. Jennifer McWhirter: I love being social, and this job allows for me to interact with different types of people all week long. Ashley Yancey: I love my job because I get to interact with lots of different people as well as having great flexibility. Jason Mott: Doing hair is my artistic release in life; it allows me the opportunity to express my creative side on a daily basis. Jessica Smith: I love being creative and developing relationships with my clients. Linda White: I love my coworkers and clients, I'm always learning from them. Jennifer Stiles: I love working in an environment where I feel supported in everything I do, and I can learn and be creative. Chantelle Cleveland (massage therapist): It doesn't even feel like work when I come here. I love what I do and working on my clients and making them feel better. Stephani Moore: My clients become friends who I love, so it's all about building friendships and making your friends happy.
