Strategic Plan Chamber Viability and Excellence • Continue and expand existing Chamber services, events and recognition programs to retain existing members and recruit new members. • Increase non-dues revenues. • Maintain financial sustainability. • Design and execute a plan to achieve GACCE certification. Member Engagement • Develop and execute a plan to respond to the needs of members identified from the 2013 survey. • Continue to improve communications with members and the community. • Solicit the Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission (KMBBC) to assist with corporate partnerships for beautification (includes Gateway initiatives). is should be the focus of KMBBC, and the Chamber can assist by reaching out to the membership to support the effort. Military Affairs • Work with our regional partners to address joint base access and Robins Air Force Base cost cutting efforts through the creation of military/private partnerships. • Maintain relationships with the base command structure. • Work with the 21st Century Partnership to protect and grow missions at Robins Air Force Base and the Air Logistics Complex. Existing Business and Industry • Provide a forum for business and industry to share Best Practices and common concerns. • Create the Small Business Council to assist small businesses. • Coordinate and facilitate a meeting of downtown property and business owners to identify gaps in member recruitment and services. 042914 Annual Report.indd 4 5/14/14 1:51 PM
