What do you enjoy most about your profession as a Certified Financial Planner with the Rosenberg Financial Group? I love helping people and I am all about educating people, which is why I work with 13 WMAZ on their evening news, write for The Telegraph and often participate in the "Your Money" morning show on AM940. I also do speaking engagements all over the central Georgia region. I specialize in helping retirees and pre-retirees work through important retirement decisions such as: what to do with a 401k or TSP, when to take Social Security, and whether to take a pension in a lump sum or monthly payment with survivor benefits. Many individuals don't feel comfortable making these decisions alone, and they appreciate getting advice from an objective person who is looking out for their financial wellbeing. I also enjoy helping families with basic estate planning issues, which led me to write an estate-planning workbook titled, "My Life Book." This workbook walks you through the steps you need to take to ensure that when something happens to you, everything goes according to your wishes. What is unique about your practice and Rosenberg Financial Group? Our firm offers fee-based money management, meaning that our clients pay us a fee to watch over their investments, and make adjustments as needed. One of the things I like best about our practice is that we meet with our clients to review their accounts on a quarterly basis. This allows us to really get to know them, and provide advice and assistance as they go through life changes and challenges. Have you written other books that help your clients and where can the books be purchased? In 2011, I wrote, "Women and Money, Building Confidence~Creating Security," which is based on the unique financial issues women face, and the women I have counseled over the years. You can learn more about my book and order them by visiting our website: rfmoney.com.
