What is the mission of your business?
Our mission is to support the safety, healing,
and resilience of children and families
by providing compassionate therapy,
comprehensive assessments, parenting
support, and supervised visitation services.
In partnership with child welfare agencies
and the court system, we work to strengthen
relationships, promote stability, and guide
families toward healthier futures. Inspired
by the lotus—symbol of growth through
adversity—and grounded in the belief that
we must 'be the change we wish to see in
the world,' we honor the courage it takes for
families to rise, rebuild, and thrive.
What experiences led you to choosing this
professional path? (Why do you do what
you do?)
My journey into this profession started long
before I ever earned a title. I spent over 30
years caring for and supporting children and
families involved with DFCS — fi rst as a
foster parent, then as an adoptive parent, and
later as a court appointed advocate. Those
experiences opened my eyes to the real
needs of children and the gaps families o en
face. Becoming a therapist was a natural
next step. I wanted to be able to support
families not just from the heart, but with the
tools and training to help them heal. Every
role I've held has shaped the way I show up
in this work, and it's why I'm so committed
to the families I serve
I hope more women will:
I hope more women will give themselves
permission to follow what they are most
passionate about.
Who is a woman who has inspired or
mentored you?
Mother Teresa because she stepped into
diffi cult places, stayed devoted to the people
she served, and proved that compassion can
be a powerful force for change.
