One of the most challenging parts has been learning that confi dence in my fi eld can be interpreted diff erently depending on who's showing it. As an attorney, you have to be assertive and decisive, but sometimes women are expected to so en those same qualities. Figuring out how to stay authentic while advocating eff ectively has been a large part of the journey. I am grateful for … My mother, whose resilience and quiet sacrifi ces while I was a child and now that I am a mother myself made it possible for me to build a career that I'm passionate about and enjoy doing every day.
