What services or products do you off er, and how do they meet a need or satisfy a want for Central Georgians? We are a full-service hair salon and head spa. Our salon meets a community need by providing professional hair care that supports personal grooming and hair health, while also fulfi lling a desire for confi dence, self-expression, and self-care through expert styling, color, and a welcoming salon experience. What experiences led you to choosing this professional path? I fi rst joined the industry as a stylist, and quickly found the passion for not only servicing guests, but the behind-the-scenes business as well. Now, my full focus is in leadership, and my "why" has shi ed. I do what I do because I believe deeply in the people who make up our company and in helping them reach the success they've always dreamed of. I lead with a grateful heart, an open mind, and the courage to walk through the hard things that growth requires. What is the best advice you have ever received? "You may not have all of the answers, but you know someone who does." It was a great reminder for me that it is okay if I do not always know everything, I have the resources and support to help me fi nd the information that I need. What is your advice for women wanting to start their own business, going back to work, or starting a new career? As cliché as it may sound, fi nd something that you fi nd joy in! There will always be highs and lows in any career, but the highs should defi nitely outweigh the lows. It is never too late to learn something new. Mike Young
