Our work is focused on building a strong, inclusive business ecosystem that allows entrepreneurs in Macon-Bibb County to thrive. What services or products do you off er, and how do they meet a need or satisfy a want for Central Georgians? The Offi ce of Small Business Aff airs provides technical assistance, business training, access to procurement opportunities, and connections to capital and resources. We also lead outreach initiatives that ensure underserved businesses are informed and prepared to compete. These services meet a critical need by helping local entrepreneurs start, grow, and sustain their businesses— strengthening the overall economic vitality of Central Georgia. What is the best advice you have ever received, business or otherwise? "Stay focused on purpose, not just position." Titles may change, but purpose is what drives lasting impact. When you are grounded in your purpose, your work becomes both meaningful and sustainable. What has been the most challenging part of being a female business owner or professional woman? As the fi rst woman to serve as Director of the Macon-Bibb Offi ce of Small Business Aff airs, I understand the responsibility that comes with breaking barriers. It has required resilience, confi dence, and a commitment to excellence. You might be surprised to know that ...
