I am grateful for my incredible team that
keeps me going at work. I wouldn't be able
to do my job without my support personnel
backing me up.

What is the best advice you have ever
received, business or otherwise?
My mom always told me "it is not what
happens, but how you deal with it." Her
words remind me that we always have
the opportunity to act with honor and
integrity when we are challenged. I strive
to remember her words and act with honor
and integrity when faced with unexpected
situations or diffi cult people.

What has been the most challenging part of
being a professional woman?
The most challenging part of being a
professional woman is balancing career
life and family life, particularly without
the guilt of neglecting one life while living
another. The best approach is to establish
priorities, which fl uctuate depending on the
stage of life and career. Once your priorities
are established, make the time to be fully
invested. The sky is the limit. -

I hope more women will fearlessly and
unapologetically pursue their goals (career
or otherwise) without needing validation
from others.
