What is your mission? Creating
Connections. Elevating Voices. Achieving
Excellence.
The CEO Leadership Institute gives
students a competitive advantage through
a 4:1 mentorship model and high impact
internships and professional experience.
What is your advice for women wanting
to start their own business, go back to
work, or start a new career in Central
Georgia? Macon has so many excellent
resources and is such an easy place to get
connected. Join the Macon Magazine
Women in Business programs! Look at
programs NewTown Macon, Macon
Chamber, Middle Georgia Regional Library,
and Wesleyan College offer (to name just
a few of many great resources). My short
answer: Don't be afraid to ask for help or
connections.
In five years I'll make an ambitious
collaborative public artwork in Macon, help
start Macon Fashion week, visit Greece,
Peru, Mexico, and Portugal, and have a solo
exhibition somewhere.
What has been the most challenging
part of being a professional woman? The
juggling act. Being okay with balls dropping,
but more importantly, figuring out who can
juggle with you!
I am grateful for my sweet family and
Wesleyan College. I couldn't have asked for
a better work environment, and incredible
people to work with.
