Find a mentor who is willing to walk you through new experiences, especially throughout your first few years in a new career. I am grateful that I have had people willing to lend me their support, guidance, and patience, and I look forward to doing the same for those who come after me. — Maggie Martin WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT RIGHT NOW IN OUR COMMUNITY? I have watched Downtown Macon grow exponentially in the 20 years that I have lived here and could not be prouder. Not only do we now have a plethora of choices to live and dine downtown, but we also have family-friendly venues and events.
