The Ocmulgee offers good fishing, birding, and wildlife watching, especially on the east bank near Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park. Canoeists, kayakers, and stand-up paddle-boarders enjoy the river's easy accessibility and beautifully wooded banks. 22
