WHAT IS YOUR MISSION, AND HAS IT
CHANGED BECAUSE OF COVID-19?
The mission of First Choice Primary Care
is to improve the health of the medically
underserved in our community. Our clin-
ical services have continued throughout
the pandemic with safety precautions in
place. Our doctors and nurse practitioners
see patients in person and by telehealth.
Our pharmacy just opened Sept. 1, and we
are offering free home delivery as a way to
help people stay home and stay safe.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED
ABOUT FOR 2021?
As we move our clinical services into the
same building in downtown, our pharma-
cy adds a new dimension to our part of
downtown. Anyone can use the pharmacy,
and we offer over-the-counter products as
well as prescription drugs, flu shots and
other vaccinations.
YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED THAT:
Our community health center employs
seven doctors and 12 nurse practitioners
who last year provided care to almost
11,000 people.
HOW DOES FCPC IMPROVE LIVES?
Access to high-quality and affordable
health services, including pharmacy
services, is critically important to helping
people live their best lives.
