Our mission at Float Robins is to bring the simple yet effective therapy of sensory deprivation/floating to Middle Georgia through the use of our "float tanks." HOW DO YOU IMPROVE LIVES? The weightlessness of the float tank en- vironment combined with the benefits of Epsom salts creates an ideal environment for injury recovery as well as providing relief from muscular pain and tension. By freeing the mind from all distractions, it can focus on repairing and rejuvenating your mind and body. WHAT IS A MISCONCEPTION YOU WISH PEOPLE WOULD GET OVER? I often hear people say, "I'm claustropho- bic. I couldn't close myself into something like that." In reality, the float tanks are quite large. HOW DO YOU DEFINE LIVING WELL? Living well is about balance. Life is stress- ful. Self-care is important and can come in many forms. We must take care of our- selves mentally, physically and spiritually to have balance. YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED THAT: The gentleman who installed our float tanks also installed tanks for the Atlanta Falcons, the Miami Dolphins and the Utah Jazz, just to name a few!
