What is the mission of your business?
Our mission is to provide
protection and peace of mind for our members, and to build a
relationship with them as well. We value the agent-client relationship
and supplement that relationship by providing exceptional service
before, during and after a member makes a claim.
e best business advice I ever received: Focus on the things that
you can change. Don't get caught up in others' negativity. Breed
positivity – it's infectious.
What are the most gratifying – and most difficult – parts of your
job?
Being there for people in their greatest moment of need is
one of the most rewarding facets of my job, and we work to keep
the promises we have made to our members. Ironically, the most
gratifying part is also the most difficult part. In this line of business,
it is difficult to witness personal devastation that an insurance
check can't fully remedy. We just hope that we've done our part in
helping families to rebuild as quickly as possible.
What sets your business apart? The fact that we exist to support
farmers and agriculture, which means that by choosing to insure
with Georgia Farm Bureau, you are supporting farmers and
ensuring that our growing world has a safe and abundant food
supply.
Advice for those seeking to get started in your f ield of business:
There is a talent shortage in our industry and the climate of how
we do business is changing rapidly, which also means it's the most
exciting time to join our industry. We are combining innovative
technologies with personal service to make a real difference.
