Afterwards, please join us for a reception on the patio honoring the performers and the start of the concert year. Unless otherwise noted, all performances are ee and will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Neva Langley Fickling Hall in the McCorkle Music Building on Mercer's Macon campus. Faculty Artist Recitals Townsend Presents Carol Goff, piano Cam Bishop, piano Thursday, October 18 Two of Macon's beloved musicians join together for an elegant evening of four-hand piano music featuringc omposers Beethoven, Dvorak, Ravel, and Rachmaninov. Seven Centuries of the Organ Jack Mitchener, organ Tuesday, November 13 An exploration of organ and keyboard music from seven centuries featuring masterworks from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Come and enjoy the exquisite sounds of the delightful Richards & Fowkes organ in the gallery of Fickling Hall. Monty Cole, saxophone Marcus Reddick, percussion Friday, February 15 Mercer Jazz Faculty Monty Cole and Marcus Reddick team up to present an eve- ning of small group jazz. From classic bebop to the present, selections will include jazz masterworks and new works premiered at this concert! Mercer University Townsend School of Music | music.mercer.edu Trumpet Majesties Jonathan Swygert, trumpet Rolando Fernandez, trumpet Tuesday, October 16 Jonathan Swygert and Rolando Fernandez present a concert featuring a myriad of works from different musical periods.
