We have a 4,000-square-foot store with the largest selection of computer equipment in Middle Georgia. We provide repair service on computers and devices. Five years ago we created an outreach program that is now called ConnectMacon, with the goal of providing reduced-cost computers and devices to low-income households and non-profits. Our program has partnered with a national organization called EveryoneOneOn, which services students in public schools. Tell us more about ConnectMacon. ConnectMacon has provided over 1,000 computers and devices to children and families in Bibb County Public Schools and hundreds to non-profits. Technology is vital to educational success and children need technology to assist them with their school work. We believe that even families who cannot otherwise afford computers and devices should have access to them, which is why our program is so important. You mentioned Quality Computers offers repair services. How does this service work? We provide in-store repair on computers, iPads, phones and tablets. Our service also includes on-site repair and networking. Approximately seven years ago, we added a remote support product called Quality Care Suite, which services consumers and businesses all over the world. In the 20-plus years of being in the business of technology, what has your experience taught you? In this industry you can never stop learning. I've had great experiences working with Intel developing new processors, Western Digital designing hybrid hard drives, and especially working within my community. What's the best business advice you've ever received? When I was young, my father, who worked for a large corporation, told me to make sure there are people trained to take over your job. And that has helped me select a diversified staff who are specialized, yet understand how to work toward a singular goal.
