40 MACONMAGAZINE.COM The best description of my business/practice is ... Lizard Thicket brings the upscale boutique to the everyday customer. We exude the feel of the high end boutique without compromising our customer's checkbook. We pride ourselves on selling the latest, most fashion- forward styles and accessories at surprisingly affordable prices. We are unique in that we carry a limited number of each piece so our selection is constantly changing. We get merchandise every single day, so customers enjoy stopping in a couple times a week just to see what's new! Think everything from a boho kimono, to your new favorite pair of jeans, to basics you can't live without… then topping everything off with a long beaded layering necklace! Since opening in May, I have been so impressed with … the city of Macon. Since being here, we have been welcomed with open arms. I am grateful for the hospitality from all the Macon residence and business owners. Lizard Thicket Boutique OWNER: Lindsey Forrest The Shoppes at River Crossing 5080 Riverside Drive Suite 230 (478) 216-5343 www.shoplizardthicket.com LizardThicketBoutique @lizardthicketboutique lizard_thicket Lizard Thicket Boutique I have also been impressed with my "LT girls" that I work with everyday! I have been blessed to find some amazing women who love fashion and, even more importantly, love our customers! They exude the southern hospitality that is so important to the Lizard Thicket brand. We strive to offer the best customer service across all of our locations. At Lizard Thicket one of the biggest things we believe … Our mission is to give back to the community our time and from our hearts. Our motto that we live out every day is "rooted in style… growing in purpose". The first Wednesday of every month at Lizard Thicket is "We Give Wednesday." Each Lizard Thicket location has a month to choose an organization of their choice to raise money for. On "We Give Wednesday," 10% of sales from all 19 boutique locations goes to that organization. We have chosen to highlight Jay's Hope in September, which is also Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The mission of Jay's Hope "is to improve the quality-of-life of children with cancer and their families in Georgia." We look forward to supporting them in such an important mission. We are unique in the way we ... offer clothing to women of all ages and sizes. One of my favorite things as a franchise owner of Lizard Thicket is when a grandmother and granddaughter come in the store to shop. The grandmother is bringing her granddaughter to spoil her with no expectation of shopping or spending money on herself. Once they see we offer items for all ages, the grandmother ends up buying items for herself as well as her granddaughter. I am overjoyed when they realize LT is their new favorite place to shop…together. SPECIAL ADVERTISING SECTION Busine Spotlight
