PRODUCTION AND CREATIVE STAFF BIOS CAST BIOS Matt Astin (Matt) is the Regional Medical Director of Emergency and Hospitalist Medicine for ApolloMD, currently working at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale. Matt has appeared on local stages for the past 20 years, last performing as the Monster in Theatre Macon's Young Frankenstein the Musical. Thanks to Jim and Scot for all you do for this community. Please make sure to go see my daughter Kayla, dancing in 42nd Street. Zach Broome (Zach) is an honorary native of Macon, Georgia, having moved from Columbus at the age of seven. He studied Art and Theatre at Mercer University and graduated summa cum laude in 2005. For the past decade Zach worked as a scenic designer and technical director of theatre. His set designs have appeared in productions at Theatre Macon, Mercer University, Macon Little Theatre, and the Grand Opera House. Last summer Zach left Macon to brave the cold climes of Connecticut in order to pursue a Master's Degree in Puppet Arts UCONN. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to return (if only for a short time) to Macon to take part in the summer theatre festival. Cliff Skelton (Cliff) is excited to perform on the Mercer stage again. His last appearance was as Dr. Finache in A Flea in Her Ear, but he has performed in several musicals around Macon since. He relocated to Middle Georgia two years ago for work as an aerospace engineer. Cliff is also an outdoors enthusiast at heart, as he can frequently be found exploring the rivers and trails all over Georgia. Kelly Mann (Co-Director) works primarily as a freelance actor, fight choreographer, director, and stunt woman. Regional credits include The Alliance Theatre, The Horizon Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Mill Mountain Theatre, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and New Stage Theatre. She is also a member of the North Carolina Stuntmen's Association, and was on the stunt team for the Sci-Fi feature Eyeborgs, starring Adrian Paul and Danny Trejo, as well as serving as the Co-choreographer for the Stephen King/John Mellencamp premier musical Ghost Brothers of Darkland County. Scot J. Mann (Co-Director) is an award winning and internationally recognized Fight Master through the Society of American Fight Directors, the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat, and Director of Theatre at Mercer University. Most recently, Scot choreographed the Alliance Theatre's acclaimed production of Disgraced. As a director, he received a Meritorious Achievement Award for his direction of Scapin, by the Kennedy Center/ American College Theatre Festival in 2005. Ashley Greene (Stage Manager) is a rising junior Theatre major at Mercer University. You may have seen her most recently on the Mercer stage playing Thea Elvsted in Hedda Gabler or Lucienne in A Flea in Her Ear. She's so excited to be working as Stage Manager with a team that she knows will teach her so much and can't wait for you to see the show!
