Emily Bodony (Ensemble) is still a newcomer to Macon's theater scene, but she is no stranger to the stage. Emily has been performing since the age of 5 and intends to make a career out of her passion. She is so thankful to that cast of 42nd Street as well as to all her friends and family for their love and support of her passion in theatre. Hannah Broeils (Featured Chorus Girl, Ensemble) is so excited to be making her debut with Theatre Macon this summer in 42nd Street. Hannah has just finished her first year of college at Columbus State University pursuing a Bachelor of Theatre Arts. She really became involved in theatre at Northside High School. While there, she portrayed some of her favorite roles including Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes and Roxie Hart in Chicago. She also appeared in three state winning one- act shows including The Music Man, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Jekyll and Hyde. Chris Abbott (Pat Denning) lives and works in Macon and is very excited to return to the stage during this theatre festival!! He is a veteran of both Theatre Macon and Macon Little Theatre. Some favorite roles are Billy, Anything Goes; Dickon, Secret Garden; Joseph, Joseph and the Amazing Techno Colored Dream Coat, and many, many others!! Thanks to Jim and production crew for this wonderful opportunity!! Kayla Astin (Ensemble) is the daughter of Matt and Laurel Astin. She is a rising sophomore at Mount de Sales Academy. Kayla has been dancing for 11 years, the last 5 years at the Madison Studio of Dance Education. CAST BIOS PRODUCTION AND CREATIVE STAFF BIOS Richard Frazier (Director and Choreographer) is a graduate of Columbus State University with a B.S.Ed. in Theatre Education and currently serves as the combination Drama/Dance Teacher at Northside High School. Richard is delighted to return to Theatre Macon this Summer to work on his 6th TM show! You may have seen Richard's work in shows such as Les Misérables, Avenue Q, Monty Python's Spamalot, Anything Goes, or The Rocky Horror Show. Richard is also an active member in the Georgia Thespians Organization which promotes and celebrates theatre excellence in middle and high schools across the state. Richard is credited as the first and only Director of a Junior Thespian All-State after his production of Into The Woods, Jr. in March of 2013. Richard now works as the Georgia Junior Thespian Conference Coordinator. Furthermore, he serves on the Educational Theatre Association's Board of Directors. Richard will be traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska, this Summer to work with the International Opening Number for the International Thespian Festival. Athens Carter (Music Director) While pursuing his Bachelor's from Berklee School of Music and his Graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, Athens Carter has spent the last twelve years away from Macon, working up north as a professional trumpet player, accompanist, and full-time educator. He is delighted to have the opportunity to rejoin the Theatre Macon community again, having participated in their first two productions of Les Misérables and most recently Young Frankenstein. Ellen Wilson (Music Director) is married to Stuart Wilson and is the mother of Lindley, John, Lauren, and Leah and mother-in-law to Mary-Elizabeth. She has been music director for many Theatre Macon shows during the past 13 years and has played in the orchestra for quite a few mainstage shows. Ellen is a lead teacher at St. Andrews Montessori School and is the organist at St. Francis Episcopal Church. Liz Shapiro (Stage Manager) is very excited to be a part of 42nd Street with Theatre Macon. A recent transplant, she is thrilled to find a new theatre home so quickly and plans to be a part of Theatre Macon for many seasons.
