14 MACONMAGAZINE.COM Faces James Palmer lives his 2-year- old dream by visiting a real fire station in Macon and sitting on Captain Ferrell Cromer's lap. Lynn, Eliza Grace and Julia Wood smile at the dedication of the Tattnall Square Park fountain. Eliza Grace is a Park hero for selling her own books to help raise money for the fountain. Pat Wall, Tricia Buce and Betty Wall spent three days after Christmas, touring NYC. Carrying Macon Magazine with them, they enjoyed Broadway plays as well a walking tour of Ground Zero and driving tour of Manhattan. Macon Magazine made it to Paris for a special mother/ daughter trip for Mary Moody's birthday. From left are Dottie Moody Clendenin, Mary Moody and Bland Moody DeShong. Helen Bowie traveled with her Macon Magazine to Panama to a village of the Embera people, one of the country's indigenous tribes. Her travel group brought decorations to help the children decorate their one-room school for Christmas.
