Most people think we just work locally, but we have worked out of state on huge disaster cleanups many times. We have traveled to Detroit (flooding), Boston (frozen pipe damage), Memphis (ice and water), and spent two weeks in New Jersey helping with the aftermath from Hurricane Sandy. Other SERVPRO® crews from outside of Macon came to help us following the Mother's Day tornado in 2008. Damage restoration requires specialized skills. What is required to work at SERVPRO® of Macon? At least one month of training occurs with each new employee. ere is also ongoing training for safety and production issues including odor and mold control, fire and water damage and OSHA safety requirements.
