What if … all of our homeless pets were actually designer dogs in
disguise? We think they really might be! Who knows?
We have added new Macon Magazine "designer dog breeds" next
to the names of these sweet pups thanks to Laura Bell's creativity.

MM Designer Breed:
Robust Mutt Hustler
Fleetwood is as sweet as they come. He
really likes water, either from a hose or
in the kiddie pools we have at the rescue.
He's an enthusiastic walker and gets
excited when he sees the leash. We would
recommend a family with older children,
as he is very lively. We think Fleetwood
is about 3 to 4 years old and he's the best
breed out there: mutt.

MM Designer Breed:
German Flat-Coated Shephound
Nevada is a 2-year-old black/brown shepherd mix
that is very sweet and aectionate. She gets along
with along with most dogs and seems to be okay
with cats. Nevada loves to go for car rides to the
local dog park where she interacts with dogs of all
sizes. She absolutely loves the water and will take
a swim in the creek when visiting the dog park.
Nevada knows the commands sit and shake. We also
think she is housebroken but cannot say for certain
since she lives in an outdoor kennel.
