We have an interesting mix in this year's
group of young leaders. ˜ere are two
ministers, Stacey Harwell and Dominique
Johnson; there is a couple who are engaged
to be married, Jonathon Dye and Harwell.
˜e group also includes Chris Tsavatewa,
who is Dye and Harwell's soon-to-be best
man. And we have an entrepreneur with a
capital "E." Stewart Vernon was a member
of CNBC television network's Young
Millionaires Club, people who made their
"rst million before turning 30.
Our young leaders are nominated by
the community and by our previous young
leaders. ˜e ultimate decision lies with
our group of past Five Under 40 leaders.
˜ey vote, discuss and decide each year
who they feel has shown a commitment to
Macon and to moving this city forward in
positive ways.
˜ese 2014 leaders are all very
di•erent, but they love our city, and
Macon is truly lucky and blessed to have
them here committed to making our home
a better place right now and in the future.

you see them on the street. And we are
