1. Pat and Glenna Meyer took Macon Magazine to the Sea
of Galilee in Israel on June 2.
2. Using money they saved from their cookie drive,
members of Macon's Cadette Girl Scout Troop 60680
recently cruised to the Bahamas to learn about different
cultures. Led by troop leaders Lisa Mayfield and Cyndee
Adams, the girls are Maddie Jackson (left), Mallory
Adams, Kaitlyn Neel, Sarah Grace Mayfield, Lauren
Gowan, Hope Duncan and Eliza Thigpen.
3. Macon Magazine accompanied a group of Maconites on
a trip to London and the Cotswolds, Paris, and Prague in
celebration of the 30 years Andy Lawson and Jackie Poole
have traveled together as group leaders.
4. Downtown Grill's Richie Jones decided to give Macon
Magazine a break from the heat and took it with him on his
trip to Prince Edward Island, Canada.
5. Learning about good things in the walkable, doable city
of Chicago and how to make it all happen in Macon, this
special group took their Macon Magazine along to the Knight
Foundation Cities Forum. From left (clockwise) Lisa Love,
