A juried show, Christmas Made in the South is focused on keeping the world of fine artisans and craftspeople alive. One of the ways Carolina Shows,Inc. accomplishes this is by requiring the exhibitor to be there all three days demonstrating and selling their handcrafted work. In this mass-produced generation of computers, video games, cell phones and iPods, what better way to teach children the importance of preserving time-tested artistic techniques? Better yet, as your children watch living, breathing artists form the work to which they have dedicated their lives, their own imaginations and creative spirits have a chance to awaken.
