70 l MACON MAGAzINE APRIL/MAY 2014 ADVERTISING | WOMEN IN BUSINESS Cox Communications 6601 Hawkinsville Road | Macon, GA 31216 www.cox.com | 478.974.6318 At every level – national, regional and local – influential, dynamic and engaging women reflect Cox's core values and commitment to integrity, people, diversity, customers and community. Nationally, our company is led and directed by Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer Jill Campbell, a longstanding member of Cox's senior leadership team and 30-year seasoned veteran. Another gifted woman whose career spans three decades is Jacqui Vines, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Cox's Southeast Region. Last year, she and Jill were recognized by CableFAX Magazine as two of the Most Powerful Women in Cable for inspiring, mentoring and getting down in the trenches "in the service of greatness." Within this same issue, Jacqui received additional honors as one of CableFax's Most Influential Minorities. (Editor's note: Oprah Winfrey also made this list!) At Cox, true talent has and will always roll in all directions. Gender is not a prerequisite for greatness. Fortunately for us, this compass points south as a local favorite, Lynn Murphey, serves as Cox Middle Georgia's Executive Market Leader. She, too, has earned numerous honors and distinctions from area/ state boards and associations during her 16 years with Cox. Several other talented women – many of whom you know personally – comprise Lynn's local leadership team. Together, they work hard to keep Cox operations running smoothly. Like Lynn, they also hold close ties to our community, supporting important causes and initiatives that benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs, Wesleyan College, Junior League, area schools and chambers, NewTown Macon, Mercer University, Historic Macon, Girl Scouts, Georgia Women of Achievement and numerous others. We think it's important to recognize these terrific women for a job well done and we're extremely proud of the outstanding contributions they make to our business and our communities each and every day.
