Points of interest included clip burlap pieces for quick and easy curtains and a salvaged
window as a tabletop on acrylic legs from the flea market. Canaan's tip for a foyer:
"Create a focal point by hanging a mirror or art work so its center is at eye level. Use
pillows in contrasting patterns, colors and textures."

GUEST BEDROOM | Merritt Jones
Merritt created a DIY headboard and window treatment, both made with simple
supplies. e headboard required plywood, quilt batting, fabric and a staple gun. For
the curtains, Merritt used fabric, iron-on seam tape and an iron and attached them to a
curtain rod with clip-on rings.
