DECEMBER/JANUARY 2013 MACON MAGAZINE I 31
LIVING ROOM |
Martha McKay Maxwell
Featured in this space were flea
market chairs that looked like new
aer painting and re-upholstering.
Martha also made an inexpensive
skirted table using a paint drop
cloth with ribbon attached to
a basic painted wood frame.
Martha's tip: "When making big
purchases for a room, like a sofa
or other piece of upholstery, stick
to neutrals and solid colors. It is
so easy [and inexpensive] to give a
sofa a whole new look by switching
out pillows."
