"A Christmas tale of near disaster, and a spirited response from the people and dogs of York, 'The St. Nicholas Yorkies: Saving Christmas Day' will delight anyone who has ever known a dog, or a reindeer, or a cat." Macon architect Russell Claxton has been drawing since he was a child. He and his wife Natalie have started a new company, Blue Igloo Books, and have recently published his first book of verse and drawings, "The St. Nicholas Yorkies: Saving Christmas Day." "The drawing I knew would be expressive and delightful. The verse is just as good and honestly a surprise," said Natalie Claxton. Russell's talent is "a gift hidden for years making it more fun" for his wife to help him in the publishing venture. This children's book is truly lovely; the drawings are expertly done with details and frivolity sure to please all ages making it a perfect gift for someone young or young at heart.
