What services or products do you offer, and how do they meet a need or satisfy a want for Central Georgians? We offer sheet metal fabrication, precision machining, and industrial services to local commercial clients, Robins Air Force Base (RAFB), and customers across the United States. What experiences led you to choosing this professional path? (Why do you do what you do?) I spent several years cleaning houses for a small company with my best friend. While I was grateful for the work, I knew it wasn't something I wanted to do long-term. I started thinking about what kind of career I could build for myself. I heard about Prince through someone my mom knew, applied, and began working on our 3D laser machine. That was almost three years ago. What started as a leap of faith has become a career I'm truly proud of. What is your advice for women wanting to start their own business, going back to work, or starting a new career in Central Georgia? Just do it. There is no rulebook that says certain jobs belong to certain people. Manufacturing is not "a man's job." It's a job for anyone willing to learn and work hard. You may hear comments or assumptions, but there is no standard for who you must be to succeed. If you want it, go for it. What do you love about Macon? What are you most excited about in our region? What I love most about Macon is the sense of growth and opportunity. You can really feel that this area is moving forward. I'm especially excited about our newest building next door and the expansion at our company. I am grateful for … I am most grateful for my daughter, Hazel. She's six months old, and the reason I show up every day ready to work hard. Everything I do is to show her that she can pursue whatever she wants in life. I want her to grow up seeing that with determination and effort, you can build the future you choose. Who is a woman who has inspired or mentored you? My mom has been my greatest inspiration. She was a single mother raising three kids while working as a hairdresser, putting herself through college, and supporting her family. Today, she works for the U.S. Attorney's Office.
