"Poured Out" is the artist's inquiry into a sustainable practice that encourages meditation, physical movement, and painting, while working with recycled material. 2 Footloose: the Musical February 20-22 Macon Little Theatre MLT's Family Series presents "Footloose: The Musical," a high- energy, family-friendly production about a city teen who challenges a small town's ban on dancing. Bursting with electrifying music and dynamic choreography just like the hit fi lm, come to celebrate freedom, resilience, '80s nostalgia, and the power of dance. 3 Katt Williams February 21 Macon Coliseum Comedian Katt Williams brings "The Golden Age Tour" to Macon, featuring all-new material. A veteran of sold-out arenas and acclaimed fi lm and television roles, Williams delivers his signature sharp, socially rooted humor in this highly anticipated arena performance. 4 Greek Step and Stroll O February 22 The Douglass Theatre If you've never seen stepping live, this event brings the Divine Nine together for a high-energy showcase of powerful steps, smooth strolls, and commanding chants. Enjoy a live DJ tailgate party before the step show, with proceeds benefi ting MMG-NPHC and C. H. Douglass student scholarships. 5 May Pang Photo Exhibition February 27-March 1 Gallery West See John Lennon through the eyes of May Pang, his short-lived lover, in an intimate exhibition of candid photographs taken during Lennon's "Lost Weekend." On view at Gallery West, these limited- edition works capture a relaxed, creative Lennon, with May Pang in attendance to share stories and meet guests. 6 Noises O March 6-15 Theatre Macon Called "the funniest farce ever written," this play is a riotous comedy following a troupe of actors rehearsing a disastrous play. Packed with comic mishaps, this fast-paced production delivers nonstop laughter under the guise of show business tropes. 7 Michelle Cann March 13-14 Fickling Hall GRAMMY® Award-winning pianist Michelle Cann performs for the Jubilee Artists Series on Mar. 13, called "exquisite" by the Philadelphia Inquirer. Named the inaugural Christel DeHaan Artistic Partner of the American Piano Awards, Cann also off ers a symposium talk on "The Women of Chicago's Black Renaissance" on Mar. 14. 8 Joe Bonamassa March 20 Atrium Health Amphitheater Joe Bonamassa delivers with his signature high-energy live show, joined by special guest Christone "Kingfi sh" Ingram. Feel the bold taste of blues along with fan-favorite classics. 9 The International Cherry Blossom Festival March 20-29 Downtown Macon This year's "Pinkest Party on Earth" includes a "Cirque de Sakura" Cherry Blossom Ball along with lots of fun events that can be tracked on a mobile app. Macon comes alive each spring to celebrate our hundreds of thousands of precious Yoshino cherry trees. 10 An Evening with Emmylou Harris March 21 The Piedmont Grand Opera House Graystone Promotions brings this 14-time GRAMMY®-winning and Country Music Hall of Fame singer-songwriter to Macon.
