Georgia WIC provides:
• Personalized nutrition consultations
• Breastfeeding support through group
classes or individual counseling
• Nutrition education
• Referrals for medical care, dental
care, and other services that can
benefit the whole family
• Food benefits for a variety of
nutritious foods
Georgia WIC now supports electronic
WIC transactions to issue and purchase
food benefits. The benefits are loaded
onto an eWIC card that can be used
at approximately 1300 authorized
retailers statewide.
Georgia WIC serves:
• Infants
• Children ages 1 to 5
• Pregnant women
• Breastfeeding mothers (up to 1 year)
• Postpartum women (up to 6 months)
Income eligibility guidelines:
July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025
