The evening begins with Leonard Bernstein's uncompromising, semi- autobiographical look at an idealized marriage in his discomfiting and amusing Trouble in Tahiti. † Three bridesmaids bemoan their dresses and the groomsmen with whom they are paired in Lisa DeSpain's charming Men I'm Not Married To. †† Finally, the behavior of a young, up-and-coming bachelor politician is called into question in Dan Shore's enchanting An Embarrassing Position. 9 to 5 Feb. 12-14 at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. Inspired by the 1980 movie, the musical 9 to 5* follows the story of three female co-workers who, pushed to the boiling point by their lying, egotistical boss, concoct an outrageous plan to even the corporate playing field in this hilarious musical adaptation! With music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, this is a splendid, toe-tapping Valentine's date night story of friendship, revenge, empowerment, and even a touch of love!
