K i r s t e n W e s t PART 2 M A C O N C H O S E M E What was your life like before Macon? I've had multiple incarnations in one lifetime because I've done so many different things. I'm a Midwestern girl. I grew up in Minnesota. I went to college for a couple years, did not get a degree. Then I was a hippie, and I traveled to California. Just on a whim, a girlfriend and I drove out there and we were definitely hippies. I lived in Hollywood from 1968 to 1971 and started out working for an interior decorator in Beverly Hills, who was a famous guy. Then I decided to move to Canada
