AT THE PARTY Make your guests feel at home and tell them
to do just that! Always leave the driveway open, and add simple
touches to make guests feel special: Paint a welcome sign. Use
wreaths on your gates. Have drinks available for guests to pick up
on their own or serve them as they enter your party.

ON INVITING "Paper invitations are a thing
of the past." Collin says for most of his parties
calling to invite guests is much more personal.
"Do invite the neighbors," says Canaan. "And
you won't get in trouble!" says Collin.
