What is D3Macon's purpose?
D3Macon's purpose is to provide safe,
effective environments with beauty and
budget in mind.
What services or products do you offer?
Commercial grade furniture in a great price
point and variety, as well as the capabilities
to purchase on multiple contracts, state
and national.
What is the best advice you have ever
received?
Work hard; always put the cherry on top;
and don't worry about your competition
if you are doing your absolute best with
integrity and grit.
What is your advice for women the
workforce in Central Georgia? Be prepared
to work hard and never forget that every
relationship matters in your community and
in your industry partner relations.
I hope more women will follow their
dreams and support one another while
doing just that!
What has been the most challenging part of
being a female business owner?
Occasionally, the level of knowledge and
training that I possess can be undermined,
but that is very rare once I meet clients and
contractors in person. And, never, once they
see me in the field installing jobs with my
installation team.
Who is a woman who has inspired or
mentored you?
So many, but I have always admired Harriet
Durkee in and out of the design world
and my beautiful mother-in-law, Susan
Dunwody…the most elegant woman I've
ever known.
