Kandy Lopez: Vaivén
February 7-Mar 29
McEachern Art Center
In collaboration with ACA Gallery
in New York, the work of Afro-
Caribbean figurative artist Kandy
Lopez explores constructed identities
through large, yarn-based portraits on
plastic canvas and large-scale
paintings of silhouettes created with
dots, reminiscent of pointillism.
These works symbolize marginalized
bodies and societal divides.
