BY TALEEN HANNA Pink Provisions Trail A G U I D E T O T H I S Y E A R ' S T he streets of Macon will turn into a "pinkscape" this March, as the blossoms of Macon's famous Yoshino cherry trees start to appear and festivities begin. While we anticipate the blooming pink, owering trees and oral decor seen on Downtown Macon storefronts during this colorful season, the unexpected is pink-inspired cuisine. Restaurants around Macon are combining their year-round tastiness with festive creativity to o er pink food and drinks during the 2025 International Cherry Blossom Festival in this year's Pink Provisions Trail. From refreshing cocktails to decadent sweets, this year's Pink Provisions Trail is a great addition to Macon's cherry blossom festivities. Participating restaurants will create some version of a pink item on their menu– the food and drinks either must be pink or cherry avored. A fan favorite is La Bella's pink nachos! Here's how it works: See which restaurants are participating Download the Tour Macon app on Google Play or the Apple App Store. There, you can nd all the information needed to make the most of this year's Pink Provisions Trail. Learn which restaurants are participating and what kind of food and drinks you will be able to try. Get a head start by bookmarking which items you de nitely want to try! Get a sneak peak Attend the Pink Provisions Preview Party on March 21 from 4-7 p.m. on Cherry Street Plaza, the area between the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and the Tubman Museum. This is an opportunity to sample the food and drink o erings for this year's Pink Provisions Trail, with tickets being $1 per taste. Add this event to your list of kick-o festivities W E ' R E PA I N T I N G T H E T O W N P I N K Visit Macon, NewTown Macon, and Macon Magazine have partnered together to support the 2025 International Cherry Blossom Festival and to rally residents and businesses together in advance of this year's festivities. #PaintMaconPink is a pink- lled community branding e ort to honor this historic festival and have that pride on full display when visitors make their way to our area! Individuals from local press and visiting travel writers will try all the o erings and vote for the Media's Choice award. Last year's winner was the Cherry Cheesecake Bites from The Rookery. All these items will be bite-sized, but the full portions of each item will be available at each individual restaurant from March 21-30 during the festival. Eat, drink, and vote Throughout the Cherry Blossom Festival, be prepared to go all out on pink-themed dining. Try as many pink food and drinks at participating restaurants during the 10 days of the festival. Last year, over 20 Macon staples had yummy pink treats for everyone. Some restaurants you can expect on this year's trail are community favorites like Cherry Blossom Cocktail Trees from Just Tap'd. After trying as many items as you can– and getting into the cherry blossom spirit – get ready to cast your vote. Vote for your favorite items from March 21-30, with categories including Best Alcoholic Beverage, Best Non-Alcoholic Beverage, and Best Food. Last year's winners were Rookery's Raspberry Lemonade, Hello Boba's Sakura Pink Petal Pop, and Layers' Pink Dream Cake.
