It would be amazing to serenade my wife or have sing-alongs with my kids. I really enjoy country music, and being able to play some of those songs would be incredible. Q: WHO ARE YOUR HEROES IN REAL LIFE? My wife is my biggest hero. She is a super mom and a super wife. We have three kids, and she still fi nds time to make me feel like the center of her attention. I can truly say that she makes me a better man every day, and I wouldn't be where I am without her. She always handles herself with such poise and grace. Q: WHAT IS YOUR MOTTO? My motto is to get "1% better every day." It's unrealistic for people to go from 0 to 100 overnight, but I believe we can improve by 1% every day. I personally strive for that as a father, husband, leader, and Christian. I have the same expectations for the hotel and our team. Q; TELL US WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM AT HOTEL FORTY FIVE. I primarily bring passion and creativity. My goal is to make our hotel and dining outlets the best through top-tier service that focuses on anticipating guest and customer needs, ensuring their experience with us is unforgettable. I've spent most of my career in luxury hotel guest services and plan to infuse those experiences, along with servant leadership, into our hotel. Q: HOW HAS MACON WELCOMED YOU? Macon has made me feel right at home. Everyone I've met has been genuinely welcoming and expressed excitement over my arrival. I even had the great opportunity to play the Glad Rags Golf Tournament with Gary Wheat, Justin Andrews, and David Aiello, who are pillars of this community. Want to meet Eli? You can find him right at the corner of Cherry Street and Cotton Avenue. Eli Weldy Hotel Forty Five's New Assistant General Manager M E E T
