I've been myself to the core, like I've always been, but I just love the person that I am now. What is a problem that you think Macon needs to solve? If we just came together as a people to help the less fortunate. There's a big drop off from the rich and poor. I think it would be pretty cool if everyone could support each other– and it can be in different aspects from mental health to food or shelter. We need to come together to support each other. How can the community support athletics at Central GA Tech? I think it goes hand in hand. I think it starts with what we can do for the community, also. We want to help the community and then they can help us. What makes a hero? Someone who puts others first. Someone who has a great heart. Someone who is morally conscious. A hero is someone who is a servant to others; someone who's selfless. Superman is what comes to my head first; he's the superhero I grew up with. He saved people all the time, so a hero is someone who is always willing to help people. "There's a big drop off from the rich and poor. I'm human. So, for me, I like to feed my spirit daily with videos, readings, and conversing with peers. The [players] are all trying to do the same thing, and we talk about our experiences with helping others. It's a purpose that I have. What is your life mission statement? Be a servant. I try to live through my godly principles of being a servant. If I wasn't a coach, I would be an executive director of an organization keeping our kids off the street. That's the best feeling that I ever had, to give love, to show love. That's the best feeling. If a book were to be written about you, what would it be titled? It would be titled Then And Now because back then, I was a totally different person they never had a coach do that. I just like to interact with them, and I feel like I know everything they're thinking. Everything they go through, I feel like I know. I feel like some kind of wizard when it comes to this stuff, but it's just fun. There are so many different avenues of helping them because some people have problems at home: personal problems, grade problems, basketball problems. They're just all living life on campus, so I just have fun with it because I feel like I can help them get them together. I can't say that I know everything, but when it comes to basketball, I know it – and I love to share it because I can see how it changes them. What do you hope to accomplish this season? We hope to graduate all the sophomores from school, and I hope that we can have a higher GPA than we had last year. Of course, I would love to win the
