funding may eliminate up to 10,000 childcare jobs
in Georgia and with it, an estimated 80,000 slots for
Georgia children. The mural is a reminder for care
workers that they are needed and valued and tells
the broader Central Georgia community that there is
more work to do.
To Brawley, the mural "is about the heart and
the love that I can give. I share everything. I share
everything about me." Now, that heart and love is
shared with all of Downtown Macon, too.
