King Tovomandjehougni hails from the
Republic of Benin, West Africa, the home of
the female Amazon soldiers in the film "The
Woman King". This country on the Slave
Coast, is the place of origin of so many
African American descendants on this side of
the Atlantic. His passionate mission is to
share the history and culture of this little
known but impactful country. King Tovo will
be sharing stories about a sacred tree where
prayers and wishes are answered with
offerings of clean water.
