Macon Magazine Women in Business
Soiree was held on Nov. 9, celebrating three
newly opened women-owned businesses on
Forsyth Street: Bear's Books, MD Exchange,
and Virginia Josey Law with a surprise sneak
peek of Rabbit Hole, the next business to open
soon on Forsyth Street. Young artists from
the McDuffie Center for Strings performed,
while guests enjoyed delights catered by
Moonhanger and Oh Honey Baking Co.

RIGHT: On Nov. 4, Macon Tracks Running
Club and Macon Bibb County hosted 600
people from 13 states for the Macon Music
Half Marathon in downtown. Macon-Bibb
was named a Runner Friendly Community by
the Road Runners Club of America
for the first time.
