Greater Together 2023 A Report to the Community from the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce On the Cover: Get on the bus. As your local Chamber of Commerce, our bus means business and is driving collective success. The Macon Transit Authority (MTA) is home to its BOLT electric bus. BOLT is one of three electric buses in the MTA fleet and provides a quiet, 35-foot, zero- emission ride with a range of up to 215 miles, a top speed of 62.5 mph, enough room for 32 passengers and can be fully charged in less than four hours. BOLT is pictured in front of the Terminal Station's mural by Isaac Ramsey, which focuses on interaction with the natural world, specifically Georgia's birds of prey and their symbolism.
