From crafting compelling artist profiles to understanding marketing strategies, these classes have equipped me with the tools necessary for a successful and fulfilling career. What accomplishment/ performance have you been most proud of since leaving the Center, and why? Winning the 3rd prize at the esteemed ARD International Music Competition in Munich, Germany, and joining the prestigious Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) as a member of the Bowers Program have been defining moments in my career. The ARD Music Competition is widely recognized as one of the most prestigious cello competitions in the world. Competing alongside exceptionally talented young cellists was a fulfilling experience. Earning the 3rd prize was a testament to my dedication and hard work. Joining the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center as a member of the Bowers Program is nothing short of a dream come true. As a passionate chamber musician, becoming part of the top chamber music organization in the United States is an indescribable honor. In addition to these achievements, I had the privilege of forming my own chamber group, The Galvin Cello Quartet, with my talented and dedicated friends. This unique configuration in the realm of chamber music offers a fresh and captivating musical experience. By winning the 2022 Victor Elmaleh Competition and joining the Concert Artists Guild roster, we have been able to share our passion and love for this distinctive form of chamber music with a wider audience. It is an incredible feeling to witness the connection between us and the listeners, and it reinforces our commitment to spreading the beauty of chamber music. What kind of challenges are you focusing on with your artistic growth in the near future? That is, what's up next for you and what are you thinking about working on? I am passionate about continuing the pursuits that have brought me joy and fulfillment in my musical journey - solo performances, chamber music collaborations, and teaching. For several years, I have been serving as a teaching assistant alongside Prof. Jensen. In an exciting development, starting this August, Prof. Jensen and I will be returning to Macon, joining the faculty of the McDuffie Center. This opportunity holds great significance for me as the Center has played an important role in shaping the foundations of my career.
