Navicent Health Foundation has granted more than $1.5 million to Central Georgia Universities to educate the next generation of healthcare workers. In partnership with the Navicent Health Foundation, the Fort Valley State University Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree will produce a diverse pool of competent and compassionate nurses who have a servant's mindset and will lead innovative healthcare initiatives in the communities they serve. Students at FVSU will be "Empowered to Serve" in efforts to "Empower the Possible," with regard to engagement in their health and well-being to decrease morbidity and early mortality.
