On Sept. 1, the Bibb County School District kicked off Attendance
Awareness Month with a celebration at Ingram/Pye Elementary
School. Members of the Southwest High School football team,
dance team and cheerleading squad came to the event to provide

Jane Price Claxton, class of 1968, was honored with the Alumnae
Association's Distinguished Service to Wesleyan College award.
