FROM TOP: Airman Matthew Coleman, a native of Cochran, serves the U.S. Navy aboard one of the world's largest warships, the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. Coleman joined the Navy one year ago: "My dad served in the Marines, and that inspired me to join the military and follow in his footsteps, while also making my own path," he said. | Lieutenant Commander Christopher Hall, a Warner Robins native, is an engineering officer stationed at Naval Base Kitsap (NBK), homeport to west coast ballistic-missile and guided-missile submarines. Hall joined the Navy to give back after the 9/11 tragedy: "The most important part of serving in the Navy is working with and for other people that have also made the sacrifice to serve their country," he said.
