Each session has options for multiple age groups from Daisies to Seniors. Individual camps are Fan Favorites, Challenge Accepted, Horse Things, Wildly, Camp Quest and a from-home STEM option. JUNIOR KNIGHTS CAMP Jr. Knights Camp will offer campers opportunities to engage in STEAM experiences in a safe and fun atmosphere on the Macon and Cochran campuses of Middle Georgia State University. The theme is "Finding Greatness Through Discovery." The cost is $75 until June 1, when it becomes $95. The price includes meals, materials and a T-shirt . Camp is suitable for rising Pre-K to rising sixth graders and happens 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. June 27-30. Register at mga.edu/camps/ index.php. MACON-BIBB COUNTY RECREATION DEPARTMENT The Macon-Bibb County Recreation Department will hold its summer camp from June 6-July 15 with activities to benefit your child's physical, social and cognitive development . Precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of campers and staff. Camps are suitable for ages 5-15, last from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays-Fridays and include meals. Register at rec.maconbibb.us. MACON CLAY A weekly summer camp program for ages 6 and older happens from 9 a.m.-noon June 5-Aug. 12. MACON LITTLE THEATRE Macon Little Theatre and the Academy of the Performing Arts announce Summer Kids Camp 2022. Morning camp for ages 5-12 happens 9:30 a.m.-noon June 6-10. Main camp for ages 9-19 will take place June 6-10 and June 13-17 with performances June 17-19. Auditions are required for the main camp and will take place from 1-3 p.m. April 9 and May 21. The main camp will be performing "Disney Descendants the Musical." Morning camp will require masks, while main camp requires proof of vaccination to keep students, counsellors and staff at the highest level of safety. This year's theme is "Macon Memories." This summer, our campers will have the opportunity to make new memories through exploration, teamwork and play. The camp begins the week of June 6 and runs for six weeks. Each week offers unique opportunities to learn and explore different topics. Many flexible sign-ups and pricing options are available. MIDDLE GEORGIA REGIONAL LIBRARY Middle Georgia Regional Library's "Oceans of Possibilities" Summer Reading Program happens June 5-Aug 7. Sign-ups begin May 22. The goal is to provide literacy enrichment to the community, to provide materials and services to assist students with the summer slide, and also to offer a stimulating alternative for many families who have fallen behind with reading-level materials and family programs.
